Always sticking to the path

On its entire length, the Way of St. James in the Weinviertel region is well signposted.

The 153 km long Way of St. James in the Weinviertel region runs from Drasenhofen to Krems an der Donau. In order to make pilgrims stick to the right path, the entire length of the route is continuously signposted.

Different signposts

For means of orientation please pay attention to the three different types of signs:

  • Hiking trail signposts Way of St. James in the Weinviertel region, Mikulov - Krems an der Donau section (cannot be missed due to their bright yellow colour).
  • Hiking trail signposts informing about distances at distinct spots
  • Small plaques (look carefully in order not to miss a sign!)

Red-white-red long distance hike markers

In the forests, it is recommendable to stick to the red-white-red long distance hike markers in addition to the Way of St. James signs.
