Off into the Weinviertel region and its rolling hills

Even though the Weinviertel region is generally known as a flat land, one will have to tackle a climb or two.

The Weinviertel region's landscape is characterised by rolling hills that provide plenty of ups and downs.

Tackling Mount Buschberg

The steepest ascent one must tackle is located at Mount Buschberg. The Way of St. James in the Weinviertel region runs across this Mountain which, at 492 m, marks the highest elevation in the Weinviertel region. However, one is rewarded with great views of the Weinviertel region after every ascent which makes one forget all the previous exhausting efforts.
